BUSY BEE DAY CAMP

Busy Bee Camp provides an all-inclusive high quality day camp experience in the convenience of a Glen Rock setting. Designed for children entering grades K-3, the daily "routine" is anything but! A wide variety of games, sports, arts and crafts and more keep the campers busy throughout the day and the summer. Campers will be bused to the Glen Rock Pool for water play four afternoons each week. In addition, a special weekly outing is planned to zoos, bowling and many other great places for summer fun. Children bring their own lunch except for Pizza Wednesdays. Each camper will receive a t-shirt. All staff members are CPR certified. All costs, including trips, admissions, transportation, weekly pizza lunch and on-site activities are included in our fee.
Each week has a theme and campers will have a blast with all of the additional activities that are planned in between all of the above. Our long running camp is the perfect fit for a well rounded summer experience.

ROCK ADVENTURE CAMP -NEW!

PLAYCAMP
Play Camp: Campers will participate in thematic activities each week including daily read alouds, crafts, playground time, water play, and sing-along songs. They will love the familiar daily routine including choices of inside and outside play. Play Camp leadership is a certified teacher in Elementary Education assisted by experienced counselors. Play camp is for ages 3 and 4 years old (child must be 3 years old by Oct 1, 2021). Children must be toilet trained. Play Camp will be held in Central School. KINDERGARTEN READINESS CAMP
Students who will be entering Kindergarten in the fall will benefit from this new camp built around kindergarten readiness. One of the community school's Pre-K teacher will be leading this camp. This camp will provide students with learning opportunities that go beyond the Pre-K curriculum. This camp will promote social, emotional and academic growth for students before they enter elementary school this fall. Students will take part in hands-on math activities, literature-based art activities, emergent literacy lessons, science experiments and more. There will be ample time and opportunities for socialization with peers.

Baseball Camp: Under the direction of Coach McGrath.
Grades 3 - 5: Campers
will focus on the basics of baseball in a fun, upbeat setting. Proper
throwing mechanics, fielding, hitting and base-running techniques will be
taught. Campers will also be presented with the opportunity to learn
these fundamentals of the game from the Glen Rock High School coaching staff,
current and former players.

will focus on the basics of baseball as well, however, there will be more of an
emphasis on position specific training techniques, the importance of being an
unselfish team player and what to expect as they move closer to high school
baseball. Campers will also be presented with the opportunity to learn

Boys Lacrosse Camp: This year Head Coach Voto and Brotherhood Lacrosse will be teaming up for a full week long camp experience. Brotherhood Lacrosse has historically put together one of the best camps in the Bergen County area, and your boys will have the opportunity to get coached up by some of the best high school lacrosse coaches in our immediate area. Brotherhood Lacrosse Camp will provide a safe, fun and competitive environment for lacrosse players of all ages and varying skill levels. We focus on basics to build lacrosse skills and IQ through individual training, positional work and live game play along with daily competitions and giveaways. Players of all ages will have the opportunity to increase their skill levels, and have FUN while learning the sport of lacrosse. Girl's Summer Lacrosse: The Glen Rock Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Clinics will be run by head coach Kyle McCourt, along with other Glen Rock High School players and coaches affiliated with the program. Numerous skills and strategies of the sport will be learned based on the appropriate age groups, as well as fun activities for enjoyment/team building. FASHION DESIGN/SEWING CAMP

Fashion Design and Sewing camp will have campers learning to sew and for those who know how to sew, they will be expanding their craft. Vivian Burns teaches classes in Glen Rock and surrounding communities. Campers will learn how to use a real sewing machine and create fabulous and fun projects starting with patch pillows, tote bags, etc. and over the course of just one week develop skills to create simple dresses, etc.. This camp will give campers the confidence to sew on a real sewing machine as well as understand and perform basic construction techniques. Bring your own machine or machines are provided. All fabric is included.

MATH ENRICHMENT CAMP
This course introduces students to middle school math (Pre-Algebra) and helps to provide a smooth transition. This is a good way to get a math "tune-up" for September’s challenges! Topics include word problems, ratios, decimal arithmetic, scale drawings measuring circles, angles, triangles and prisms, these are just some of the topics that will be covered. AUTHOR WRITING CAMP

New to camp this year is Woodworking Camp. Come join us this summer and have fun learning the basics of woodworking. Every day campers will start off by learning woodworking safety.
