STEM Class
Spark creativity and bolster a deep interest in Science, Technology and Arts in children through hands-on practical learning by "Making"! We will focus on fostering and developing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity and collaboration in a fun learning environment. Each week we will focus on a new STEAM topic, through a variety of challenges that stimulate young minds toward discovering how and why things work. Offered by Steam Works Studio

NANO BOTS Robotics
This introductory class is an excellent way to cultivate interest in Science, Technology & Engineering as well as encourage problem solving skills, teamwork & creativity, is to design, build and program working Robots. NANO BOTS curriculum employs LEGO™ based kits appropriate for hands-on building & programming projects that introduce STEM & Art concepts in a fun manner. Students start understanding what Robotic Systems are capable of as well as Sensors (motion, distance, tilt) & basic Programming with an easy to use Drag and Drop program. They utilize sound & text blocks to troubleshoot and interact with people in their projects. The projects themselves are about various themes from the animal kingdom, sport playing robots to making useful simple machines and racing cars that react to movements & objects. Lacrosse Clinic - CoEd
The winter lax clinics are run by Glen Rock High School's Coach McCourt (Head Girls' Lax) and open for grades 1-5. The hour-long lessons will teach the fundamentals of lacrosse and the basic skills used for both boys' and girls' games. The program will run for 6 weeks every Tuesday from 3:30-4:30pm at Central School. Due to capacity/safety purposes there is a maximum of only 22 registrants for the clinics. Students provide their own equipment (sticks, helmet/goggles for girls) and sneakers required. Any questions reach out to Coach McCourt at

Come join the fun as we create colorful, fun sculptures. Using Sculpty clay we will create whimsical characters that will be built during class and then bake in your own oven at home. We will create robots, silly people, furry friends and other colorful, one of a kind characters. We will add googly eyes and silly whiskers to our fun figurines. Let your imagination run wild!!

Painting Fun
Come join the painting fun! Explore a wide array of painting styles using bold color, learning about composition and line from modern masters to fun, whimsical themes and subject. Create beautiful original pieces of art on stretched canvas. Bring your paintings home and exhibit your unique, one of a kind masterpieces! Please bring a smock or wear old clothing as acrylic paint will be used.

Sewing - Grades 3-5
This class is for those who want to learn how to use a real sewing machine! Each week students will create a different project such as pillows, bag's aprons, pouches, pillowcases and more! All supplies are included and sewing machines are provided if you don’t have one. By the end of the session, students will have learned how to cut fabric, work with pins and needles as well as gain confidence working on a real sewing machine. Non-beginners are welcome, too.

TGA brings the golf course to you! Our award-winning curriculum incorporates golf instruction, educational components, and character development lessons in a fun and nurturing environment.
